Loren A. Trimmer

Loren A. Trimmer left this world to be with his lord and savior, Jesus Christ on April 27, 2021. He was born October 11, 1934, to Ted and Mable Trimmer in Homestead, OK. Loren was drafted and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army as a medical aid-man from March 1955- March 1957.
Loren was loyal to Jesus and was very involved with his church. He also loved sports, and especially loved coaching little league baseball. After coaching, he became the junior league president. Loren had several jobs and ventures over the years.Loren worked several road Construction positions in Cheyenne which included Warren Air Force Base as a heavy equipment operator, Teton Construction as their lube servicing man - truck driver and for Small Times Construction as a driver. He was a co-owner of American Tax Associates for many years. He drove local freight for Salt Creek, Edson Express, Consolidated Freightways, and was a city bus driver for years. Loren and Elva loved serving the Cheyenne community. They both served at the Salvation Army as youth leaders, and both served on the emergency services canteen. He was also very involved in the Cub Scouts program, Pack 123, where he was the Cub-master here in Cheyenne.
Loren adored spending time with his wife and family. He is survived by his wife Elva; five sons and daughter-in-laws, Dennis (Diana), Kyle (Martha), Kevin (Tricia), Darren (LeAnn) and Troy (Anie); eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sibling.
Loren was preceded in death by his parents, and seven of his siblings.
Cremation has taken place and services will be at a later date. Expressions of care can be posted to www.wrcfuneral.com .
