Lois Louise Head, 68, of Cheyenne, died on May 7, 2019 at the Granite Rehabilitation and Wellness Center.
She was born on September 1, 1950 in North Platte, Nebraska. She enjoyed celebrating holidays and was phenomenal cook. She was wonderful coordinator and had an extensive holiday decorating collection to fill her family’s hearts with love. She was an active member of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Cartersville, Georgia. She loved to travel and was a dedicated caretaker. She is survived by a brother, Charles Ward of Cheyenne; two sisters, Marlene Marlowe of Cheyenne, and Jackie Huckins of Sturgis, South Dakota; two nieces, Sarah Ward of Lafayette, Colorado, Donna McSwain of Blackstone, Virginia, three nephews, Neil Marlowe of Dinwiddie, Virginia, Gene Huckins of Sturgis, South Dakota and John Ward of Cheyenne as well as various friends and relatives in Georgia. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac “Jack” Head and Verna E. Ward.
Graveside services will be Friday, 1:30 p.m., at Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Cheyenne Cancer Society.
