Jeannie would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call, a sort of offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which she cannot return. It comes with a huge bonus of wings and a reunion with family she has not seen in a while. Her new mission took her to a wonderful place on March 6, 2017 from Cheyenne, where she can now socialize, plant tomatoes, paint, and read to her heart’s content. She has left instructions for family and friends to celebrate her new mission and to remember, she loves us all. Jeannie was born on January 22, 1959 in Viborg, SD to Merle and Lolly Andersen. She graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 2006 with a degree in Respiratory Therapy. After moving to Cheyenne, Jeannie began working for Cheyenne Regional Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist. Her co-workers remember her as passionate. Her number one priority was always her children and family. They remember her as an involved and loving mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals. Jeannie was a dedicated individual who was passionate and loved her grandchildren as well. They loved to play with her and learn all of life’s lessons she wanted to instill. She was filled with compassion and interest in others, and Jeannie made friends easily and cherished the connections she made. Survivors include her mother; Lolly Andersen and sister Sandy Andersen, both of Grand Junction, CO; her children and wives, Brian (Mercedes) Tolle of Cheyenne, Michael (Kristen) Tolle of Lubbock, TX, and Christopher (Renee)Tolle of North Platte, NE; many grandchildren, family, and friends too numerous to list. She is preceded in death by her father Merle Andersen and her grandparents. A memorial service in Jeannie’s honor will be held at 2PM on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Ascension Luthern Church Online family tributes can be sent to
