Lillie M. Lesco

March 22, 1925 — June 16, 2018

Lillie M Lesco, 93, of Anchorage AK died suddenly, Saturday 16 June 2018.
She was born March 22 1925 in Cleveland Oklahoma to Sam and Essie Patrick. Lillie grew up in Drumright OK where she graduated from the Drumright High School in 1943. Lillie was well known as a classy dresser with impeccable grooming standards. During her high school years she met the love of her life, Don B Lesco.
Lillie and Don were married on 22 Janurary 1944 while Don was serving in the Navy during WWII. After Don was discharged from the Navy they lived in Drumright until 1951 when they moved to Cheyenne Wyo. Lillie lived in Cheyenne for 62 years before relocating to Anchorage AK in 2013 after Don passed away. While living in Alaska Lillie discovered the wonders of wildlife up close and personal. Seeing her first moose right outside the window was a marvelous treat. She was always amazed at all the trees and how tall they were. She often wondered who planted all those trees and what will happen to them now. Everything had its own beauty in her eyes.
Lillie was a passionate homemaker that always enjoyed every opportunity to visit with family and friends. The coffee pot was always on.
Over the years in Cheyenne Lillie enjoyed her numerous parakeets but her favorite pet of all time was the white toy poodle "Korky”.
Lillie's life was grounded in her strong Christian faith and values.
Lillie is survived by her son, Don B. Lesco Jr, and his wife Frances Lesco of Anchorage AK, nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Essie Patrick (nee Shipley), her husband Don B Lesco Sr, one son Timothy Carl Lesco; one sister Imogene Fenton; and two brothers, Roy Patrick and Junior Patrick.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Visitation will take place on Friday from 6-8PM. Interment will be in Drumright, Oklahoma.
