Lee Benjamin Sandoval, 78, of Cheyenne, died on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Davis Hospice Center.
He was born on December 16, 1937 in Wagon Mound, New Mexico and had lived here for over 70 years.
Mr. Sandoval retired as a maintenance engineer for the General Services Administration and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed doing yardwork and keeping up his property, but most of all he loved his family and was a dedicated family man.
He is survived by his wife, Teodorita “Dorita” Sandoval, whom he married on June 11, 1957 in Cheyenne; four daughters, Janice Burlew (Ray) of Cheyenne, Joyce Gallegos (Dino) of Cheyenne, Marilyn Hernandez of Denver, Colorado, and Margo Tucker of Henderson, Nevada; four sisters, Alice Valdez (Jake), Melva Padilla (Augie), Charlotte Martinez (Rudy), and Mary Lovato; eight grandchildren, Lindsey Olmstead, Jonathon Burlew, Paul Hernandez, Brianna Acklin, Jesse Hernandez, Amber Lopez, and Roman and Trey Tucker; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Sandoval was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Sandoval; a brother, Danny Sandoval; two sisters, Margaret Vialpando and Georgia Vigil; and his parents, Rumaldo and Pauline Sandoval.
Vigil for the Deceased will be Friday, 6:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
