Lee Hildebrandt died unexpectedly on March 9, 2025, in Meriden, Wyoming at the age of 72. Lee was born August 10, 1952, in Maricopa County, Arizona to Lee Sr. and Betty Hildebrandt. He grew up in Arizona and after finishing High School he joined the Army National Guard Reserves where he served from 1972 to 1977 in Arizona.
He married Teresa Laue on February 14, 2003. They welcomed three children into their home along with two children from a previous marriage. Lee lived to parent and grandparent and enjoyed passing on to them his mechanic skills along with his love for the outdoors. His children will remember him as a compassionate and generous father who encouraged them to pursue their dreams.
Lee was an accomplished mechanic and a jack of all trades. After moving to Cheyenne WY, Lee began the challenging work of homesteading land that he had bought for retirement. He took on major projects such as digging his own well and building his own home. He was a generous person who never met a stranger and loved being a father and grandfather. He was passionate about being with his family. Some people are made to be dads, and Lee was one of them.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Larry Hildebrandt, his children; Ryan Hildebrandt (Christina) and Joe Hildebrandt with their mother Paula Hildebrandt, and Shane Hildebrandt (Kayla), Breaanna Hildebrandt (Ryder), and Aleasha Hildebrandt (Rusty) with their mother Teresa Hildebrandt, along with several grandchildren.
