Lee Garlach, 75, passed away September 1st in Cheyenne with his wife and children by his side. Lee was born in Messena, New York on August 30, 1941 to his parents Leo and Kathleen. Lee ran his own electrical contracting businesses for over 50 years. Voted Wyoming’s football fan of the year in 2006, Lee was a tremendous supporter of the University of Wyoming athletics. He was also a diehard Broncos and Rockies fan. Throughout the years he was a member of the Cowboy Joe Club, SE Wyoming Builders Association, Kiwanis, Jaycee’s; and a coach of Little League, Senior Babe Ruth, and Legion Baseball. Lee loved the outdoors and enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling, fishing and hunting. His sense of humor will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife Ann; children Angie Depew (Mark), Lee Garlach (Jenny), Margie Campbell (Bruce), Tiffany Garlach (Josh Poling), Amy Schramm (Ron), and Kamy Boller (Brian); eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild; brothers Garth and Steve Garlach, and sisters Faith Heidel and Beth Anderson. Most days, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and employer.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday September 6th at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes followed by internment at Beth El Cemetery in Cheyenne. The family is hosting a celebration of life following the services at Little Bear Inn. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the University of Wyoming Cowboy Joe Club.
