Larry Trujillo, 68, of Cheyenne, passed away at the V.A. Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. He was born May 25, 1953, Sheridan, Wyoming to Benjamin E. and Cory Marie (Sanchez) Trujillo.
Once he graduated from High School, he joined the United States Navy and served from 1974-1978. In 1985 he married the love of his life, Joyce (Osborn) Trujillo, and they have shared 36 wonderful years together. He loved his sports, all sports, being a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Wyoming Cowboys. Larry enjoyed fishing, bowling, traveling, and stock cars. But his family was his true love in life.
Larry is survived by his wife, Joyce; stepson, Keith McIntyre; brother, Ross (Debbie) Trujillo; sister Mary Dykes; grandchildren, Priscella Montgomery, Loren Wardle, Rebecca Nebola, Brittney Rogers, Marissa West, and Zachary West; great-grandchildren, Kevin Wardle, McKayla McIntyre-Schafer, Aaron Nebola, James Nebola, Bryson Wardle, and Emily Nebola; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brother, Pat Trujillo; stepchildren, Christine Booth, James McIntyre, and Larry West, Jr.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Service will be Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., in the Cheyenne National Cemetery with full military honors.
Following the service there will be a reception held a Faith Baptist Church 708 E. Prosser Road.
