LaVere Albert Byrne, 73, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2015 in Laramie, Wyoming. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. He was born December 14, 1941 to CeDora and Ralph Byrne in Driggs, Idaho. LaVere attended school in Idaho, graduating from Idaho Falls High school in 1959. After graduation he met and married Sharon Kay (Nelson) Anderson in 1962. He then joined the United States Air Force in 1963 as a phone exchange specialists, honorably serving his country in Alaska. In 1966 he and Sharon divorced. He was honorably discharged in 1967 and met and married Billie (Bagshaw) Stanton in 1969, they later divorced. LaVere moved his family to the Green River, Rock Springs area in 1971, and worked as a carpenter with the local union there until his retirement in 2006. He remained in Rock Springs until his health declined and moved to Cheyenne in 2011 to be closer to his son. LaVere enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his grandchildren.
LaVere is survived by his children; Sandy (Chris) Clark of Shelly, ID., Darrell (Debra) Byrne of Cheyenne, WY., Cindy (Brett) Bybee of Clinton, UT., Russell Byrne and Tammie Byrne, both of Rock Springs, WY., sisters; Darlene Atkins of Beaumont, TX., Judy Mae Saxton of WA., step sisters; Diane DeFippis of Idaho Falls, ID., and Nancy George of Oklahoma City, OK., eighteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents CeDora and Ralph, step mother Dorothy, brother Merlin, step brother Randy Wooldry, daughter Cynthia, grandchildren Shalya and Dyllon. In Celebration of his life family and friends will meet at Fox Funeral Home in Rock Springs on Friday, April 17th, 2015 at 10:30 am.
