Laura Lynn (Brown) Bonitatibus
October 23, 1960 – September 9, 2024
Laura Lynn (Brown) Bonitatibus, 63, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away on September 9, 2024, after health complications. Born on October 23, 1960, in Derby, Colorado, Laura moved to Cheyenne at a young age, where she grew up alongside her best friend, Mary Jones.
Laura was a devoted mother to her beautiful daughter, Brean. In her early years, she married her first husband, Gary Scott, and together they enjoyed many adventures, frequently moving as they built their life. Laura often cleaned homes and businesses to support her family during this time.
After her first marriage ended, Laura found love again and married Gary Bonitatibus. Her dedication and hard work paid off when she became the proud owner of her own janitorial business. Laura and Gary spent many joyful years racing every Saturday night, a passion they both cherished.
In her later years, Laura and Gary found deep faith, igniting their hearts with the fire of the Holy Spirit, and they discovered solace and joy in God's love and eternal grace.
Above all, Laura treasured the time spent with her family, especially her three grandchildren, Anthony, Quintin, and Jaslynn, and her four great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Ella, Chloe, and Ethan. She is also survived by her three beloved sisters: Karen Reece, Aleta Little, and Linda Stundon.
Laura is preceded in death by her father, Max Brown, her mother, Ellen Horton, and her brother, Max "Buddy" Brown.
She lived a life full of love, adventure, and faith, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, resilience, and devotion to her family and her faith. Laura will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
All are welcome to attend the burial service at Lakeview Cemetery on Friday, September 13th, at 1:30 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 2 pm at Orchard Valley Community Center, 2111 South 1st Street in Cheyenne. Because this is a celebration of Laura’s life, we ask that attendees wear bright, celebratory colors. Laura's favorite colors were royal blue and purple.
