Larry Mccart

Larry Gene McCart died Friday August 24th, 2018 at his home in Cheyenne, WY. Larry was born September 8, 1947 to Glenn and Anita (Timm) McCart in Omaha, NE. He graduated from Coleridge High School in 1966 and enlisted in the Marine Corp that same year, serving in Viet Nam. He made a career of serving his country and retired from the Air Force in 1989 as a Master Sergeant. He married Janice Wilson in 1969. Her son, Michael, became Larry’s son through adoption. To this union a daughter was born, Laura Lee. Larry was preceded in death by his wife and parents. Also preceding him were his grandparents; Otto and LaVina Timm, Everett McCart, Faye Dye, and one brother in-law Larry Nordby. Survivors include his son, Michael, daughter Laura and son in-law, Ken Wooster; granddaughters, Megan and Jailey, sisters; Louise Nordby, Sharon (Keith) Graham, and Blanche McCart, and one brother; Floyd McCart. He is also survived by seven nephews, one niece, and several relatives and friends.
