Larry Ladd Larson, 64, of Cheyenne passed away on January 4, 2015 at Cheyenne VA Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Ladd was born February 23, 1950, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Garold and Darlene Larson. He was married to Treva in Sept. 2, 2001 at their home outside of Cheyenne.
Ladd was an adventurous soul; working in many careers throughout his colorful life. He served in the Air Force, was a telephone lineman, forestry ranger/firefighter, baker/chef, and entrepreneur. His passions were exploring the great outdoors and spelunking. He enjoyed history and researching the American West. Ladd was also a proud supporter and contributor to the Cheyenne Depot Museum.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Larson; father, Garold Larson; brother, Griff Larson and sister, Leslie Larson.
He is survived by his wife, Treva; daughters, Shannon, Brittany, and Courtney; sons, Justin and Nathan; brother, Lane; 9 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A public viewing will be Thursday, January 8th at Wiedersphan-Radomsky Funeral Home.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 9th at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Funeral Home.
Contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Cheyenne Depot Museum in Ladd’s name.
