Larry L. Hootman

Larry L. Hootman, age 76, passed away February 16, 2018. He was born on March 9, 1941 in Hollis Township, Illinois to Theodore and Lucille Hootman. He was dedicated to a life of service, to his family, his state and country.

Larry joined the Air Force when he was 18 and served for 26 years, working around the world as a Geodetic Surveyor; attaining the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. His recent passion was serving as the Sargent in Arms at the Wyoming Senate.

Larry is survived by his wife, Lelia of 57 years; sister, Glenda Smith; and his son, Tom Hootman and his wife, son and daughter. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald Hootman and Teddy Hootman; and his daughter, Susan Hootman.

A viewing will be held at the Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel in Cheyenne, Wyoming on Monday, February 19th from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on Tuesday, February 20th from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Services will be held at the same location at 10:00 AM on Wednesday February 21st. Immediately after, a burial service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery, followed by a reception at The Gathering Place at 1900 East 21st Street.
