Larry Dean Braden, 57 of Kimball, Nebraska, passed away November 12 from Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
He was born June 6, 1960 in Cheyenne to Stanley and Anna Braden.
He married Susan McKelvey-Bliss, February 23rd, 2001.
Larry graduated from East High School. He studied Auto Tech at LCCC and graduated on the President's Honor Roll.
He was employed by Missile Drive Auto Body Shop. He started his own auto body shop, LB’s Body Shop.
Larry loved riding dirt bikes, tying fly’s and fishing, gold panning and gem hunting. Larry was an inventor and loved creating new ideas. He also loved gardening and currently built a greenhouse at his home in Kimball.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Anna (Clapp) Braden; sister, Cheryl Sanders; grandparents, Leo and Rhea Clapp and John Braden and Rose Miller.
Larry is survived by his wife, Susan; step-son, Joel Bliss (Misty); step-daughter, Kristeen (Dave) Nagle; grandchildren, Kallianne, Arianna, Zan, McKenzie and Avery;
brother, Jim (Cindy) Braden; brother-in-law, Ray Sanders; nephews and nieces, Ben Braden, Willie Sanders, Anna Frenzel, Valerie Sanders and Brenda Heath.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 1:30pm at Happy Jack Country Church.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the family or the Scottsbluff Hospice.
