Kyle Wassenberg, 33, passed in Cheyenne, WY on March 9, 2024. He was born on January 31, 1991, in Fort Collins, Colorado to Jed and Connie Wassenberg.
He provided for his family by doing his dream job of hauling cows and he took pride in his Semi truck. The mountains had a special place in his heart where he thrived in his love of hunting, fishing and camping with his friends, family and his dogs.
Playing and watching college Basketball, football, baseball and betting a hand in blackjack were among his long list of favorite activities. His competitive streak had him at the edge of his seat for his teams he loved; the Bills, the Broncos, the Wyoming Cowboys and KU-Rock Chalk, Jay hawk.
His passion for all things he held close to his heart was unwavering especially being a father, husband, son and friend. He could make you laugh when you needed it and he’d always give his honest opinion. His gracious compassion and willingness to take care of others through sacrifice, integrity and hard work shows us all how blessed we are to have him in our hearts.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel, son, Elijah-10yrs, daughter, Addilyn-6yrs, his mother Connie and father, Jed and numerous friends and loved ones.
He is proceeded in death by his Grandma and Grandpa Plum and his Grandma and Grandpa Wassenberg.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday March 16th at 10:00 am at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. A reception to follow at Kyle’s father in laws house 9114 Stevenson Avenue Carr, CO 80612.
