Kevin Gene Guffey, 48, of Cheyenne, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 19, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on June 27, 1968 in Muncie, Indiana and had lived here for 15 years.
Kevin drove truck for 25 years and it was his love and passion. He was an avid biker and loved his Harley’s and biker brothers, hunting with his Dad and son, and supporting our Veterans.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Michele (Blackburn) Guffey whom he married on August 10, 1991 (or August 11th) in Muncie, Indiana at his parents home; a son, Shea Guffey of Cheyenne; parents, Gene and Brenda (Massengale) Guffey of Muncie; sisters, Melinda Orebaugh (Allan) of Holmen, Wisconsin and Alisa McPhearson (Rodney) of Frankton, Indiana; brother, Robert Arnett of North Judson, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Shanna Webb (Brandy) of Warsaw, Indiana and Andréa Compton (Danny) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brothers-in-law, Thomas Blackburn (Bethany) of Wellington, Colorado and Anthony Blackburn (Sarah) of New York; six nieces and nephews; eight great nieces and nephews; and numerous biker brothers and adopted family.
Kevin was preceded in death by Uncle Mike and all of his loving grandparents.
A Celebration of his Life will be Thursday, 5:00 p.m., at 4721 Split Rail Court.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
