Kenneth Orin Lockrem, born on August 23, 1935, in Faribault, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Kenneth lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love for his family. He served his country honorably in the United States Army, demonstrating a commitment to his nation that he carried proudly throughout his life.
A respected professional, Kenneth worked in Quality Assurance for Boeing, where his expertise and attention to detail contributed significantly to the aerospace industry. His work ethic and passion for excellence were evident to all who had the privilege of knowing him and witnessing his contributions to the field.
Above all, Kenneth was a devoted husband to Lynda Gentry Lockrem. Together, they nurtured a loving family that included their two daughters, Rona Bartos and her husband Tim, and Shauneen Crocker and her husband Jason. Kenneth took great joy in his role as a father and grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, who will fondly remember the warmth and wisdom he shared with them.
Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Lynda, his daughters, and his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Christopher Lockrem and Anne (Johnson) Lockrem, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life.
A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Kenneth on January 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Lakeview Cemetery, located at 2501 Seymour Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001. Friends and family are invited to come together to commemorate and celebrate the remarkable life of this extraordinary man, who touched the hearts of many. Kenneth Orin Lockrem will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
