Keller Gleason

Keller Alvirous Gleason, 88, of Cheyenne died December 13th at the VA Medical Center.
He was born in Garland, Utah in 1928 and lived in Cheyenne for the past 50 years. He worked for Land Air, Ideal Aerosmith, and opened his own company, Machine Mart.
Major Gleason served in the United States Air Force as a fighter pilot in Korea, with additional time in the Utah Reserves, Massachusetts and Wyoming Air National Guards.
He was an alum of Utah State, a member of Sigma Chi, FE Warren AFB Golf Course, and Fort Warren Daedalian Flight 54 (Military Pilots). He attended 1st Congregational Church.
Keller enjoyed golfing, gardening and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Miweeze, four children: Steven (Michelle) Gleason, Joyce Wylie, Anne (Tracy) Foster, and David (Brenda) Gleason, and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Myrtle Gleason, son Scott Keller Gleason, and twelve siblings.
Services will be Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at First Congregational Church.
Charitable donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Wyoming Chapter or CLC Recreation Therapy, Cheyenne VA Medical Center, 2360 E. Pershing Blvd, Cheyenne WY 82001.
