Kathryn M. Marron, 92, of Cheyenne died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Davis Hospice.
She was born June 2, 1922 in Waterbury, Nebraska.
Kathryn loved her family, friends, and the Lord with all her heart. Her favorite color was orange, which matched her spunky personality.
She married Paul Marron on November 3, 1942, raising two children, Karen and Paul, Jr.
Kathryn worked at Loretta Heights College in Denver, Colorado before moving to Cheyenne. She worked at St. Mary’s School then later at F.E. Warren A.F.B., retiring after 20 years. She then worked at Gibsons as a cashier for 8 years. She loved people and enjoyed her jobs.
She enjoyed fishing and painting ceramics and was a member of VFW 1881 and American Legion Post 6.
Kathy loved all animals, especially her little dog, Sam.
She is survived by her children, Karen (Ken) Young and Paul Marron, Jr.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a nephew, Mike O’Neill.
Kathryn was preceded by her husband, Paul Marron; parents, Len and Fern O’Neill and siblings, Bud O’Neill and Mary Hohenstein.
Vigil for the Deceased will be 6:00 p.m., Thursday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Funeral Liturgy will be 2:00 p.m., Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Tom Cronkleton as celebrant.
Interment to follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
She was a wonderful grandma and great-grandma. We will miss her so much! We feel so blessed to have had her all these years.
