August 7, 2022, age 79, Kathryn (Kay) E. Booth, recently of Cheyenne, peacefully passed. She was attended by her beloved son Mark A. (Lauren Hejna) Wolcott at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Kathryn is survived by grandchildren Lauren (Cory) Weiss and their son, Kay's great grandson,
Nolan Weiss, and Ryan (Laura) Wolcott of North Carolina, brother William (Bonnie) Fosbury of Buffalo, NY and sister Susan (late Wayne) Cummings of Maryland, nephews, step children, step grand and many step great-grand children around the United States. Kathryn is also survived by her beloved dog Ruby who was lovingly adopted by beloved and valued family friend and short-time caretaker, Christine (Dave) Lisecki. Kathryn earned her MS in Nursing becoming an accomplished Prenatal Nurse and Nurse Manager at Buffalo General Hospital in NY. She was a masterful conversationalist who enjoyed many friendships in her lifetime, including several friends at Whispering Chase in Cheyenne in the short time she was in Wyoming. Kathryn loved to travel, was a master seamstress, hobbyist clothing designer, and yarn craftswoman. In recent years, Kathryn was reunited with her son, moving to Wyoming in 2021. It was her wish to spend her remaining time close to Mark. She joins her beloved husband Donald J. Booth of Depew, NY in peaceful rest. Kathryn was also preceded in death by parents Francis and Elizabeth Fosbury of Buffalo, New York. A Celebration of Life will be hosted at a later date in Buffalo, NY.
