Kathryn “Ruby” Abeyta-Woolsey, 58, of Cheyenne, became our guardian angel on April 29, 2015..
She was born August 27, 1956 in Cheyenne to Ruben and Nancy Woolsey.
Ruby was a homemaker who loved being a mom. Her kids were her number one priority. She was open-hearted, amazing, and a “mother” to everyone. Ruby welcomed everyone with open arms and would always send cards, “Mrs. Hallmark”. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting and needle punch. Ruby was also a die hard Bronco fan.
She is survived by her four children, Brandon (Denise) Woolsey of Denver, Colorado, Eloy (Kaylee) Abeyta, Brittney (Dan) Wells, and Ruben Abeyta, all of Cheyenne; two sisters, Sandy (Gene) Pacheco and Pam Stanley; and eight grandchildren, Michael (Angel), Brendon, Delanie, Danielle, DemiRae, DesaRae, DeMarie and Bryant, all of whom she loved dearly; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Nancy Woolsey and grandparents, Jose Eloy and Elvira Eva Valdez.
Funeral Liturgy will be Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with Father Carl Gallinger as the celebrant.
Interment of her urn will take place at Olivet Cemetery following the services.
