Karen L. Pope, 51, of Cheyenne, died on Monday, October 29, 2018 in Cheyenne.
She was born on June 8, 1967 in Rochester, Minnesota. She was a loving mother and wife devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling to warm destinations, taking walks outdoors, sharing stories, riding bikes and the Wyoming mountains.
Karen was a graduate and valedictorian of Central High, received her BA in Spanish at the University of Wyoming and a Masters degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She was a dedicated Spanish teacher in Cheyenne schools for 26 years and truly enjoyed her work as she built strong bonds with both her students and colleagues.
