June O. Vitley, 94, of Cheyenne was carried to Heaven by her Lord and Savior on January 10, 2021 in Cheyenne.
She was born on December 3, 1926 in Cheyenne.
She worked at Bill's grocery store, in Cheyenne before becoming a homemaker.
She had the gift of hospitality and grace. She was one of the most important people in our lives. She was the head of the family after her husband Antonio passed away in 2000. She did everything she could to make sure everyone felt loved and welcomed into her home. She selflessly put family first, which not only included fixing the best meals every Sunday, but also teaching us the value of faith, family and love, making each one feel special.
She is survived by her sons, David Vitley and Alfred Vitley (Jerrilyn) of Cheyenne; a daughter, Carol McAffee of Cheyenne; 28 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio D. Vitley; a daughter, Patricia Holmes and her husband Jimmy Holmes; a grandson, Chad Vitley; her parents; and three sisters.
Services will be Monday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Burial will follow in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
