Judy Filbin, 74, of Cheyenne, WY passed away peacefully at Life Care Center of Cheyenne Aug.28, 2015 after a long struggle with health problems. Vigil for the deceased will be held at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel on Wednesday September 2, 2015 at 6pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Mary’s Cathedral Thursday September 3rd at 10:30 AM, with interment to follow at Olivet Cemetery. Online family tributes can be made to

. Judy was born on Apr. 10, 1941 in Grand Island, NE to Arthur E. Dellert and Erma L. Orash. She graduated from Kearney High in 1958. In 1961, she met the love of her life, James Filbin, on a blind date. They married on Apr. 28, 1962 at the Holy Family Church in Heartwell, NE. In 1964, Judy and Jim moved to Cheyenne, WY. Early in her life, she worked at Cheyenne Memorial Hospital. In 1976, she became a part owner of the Dairy Queen of Cheyenne. Judy was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral Church. Her greatest passion was being an amazing wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. Judy is survived by her right arm and her rock Jim Filbin (Dad); son Jamie (Carolyn) Filbin of Reno, NV; daughter Krissy Moore (Horace) of Cheyenne; Kimberly (Mike) Calafatis of Galloway, OH; son Randy Filbin (Hollie) of Cheyenne; grand kids: Kate Buhr, Anthony and Zack Mondello, Megan and Connor Filbin, Cody and Zoey Calafatis, Coby and Bryson Filbin; and one great-grandchild Ellie G. Buhr; sister Deniece (Nicky) Moffett, brother Terry Dellert. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Arthur and Erma; step parents Evelyn and Stanley; Sister Deanna (Toostie).
