In life she was a strong wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother and friend. She worked tirelessly and put all her energy, love and faith into everything she did.
Fabby moved to Cheyenne, WY from Mora, NM in June 1960 where she worked as a waitress at The Mayflower, Cal's, New Albany and Coffee Cup until she retired in 1990. Her greatest accomplishment was family, she raised 10 kids Dorothy Roybal, Diana Romero, Susan Ford, Tommy Garduno, Joyce Rose, Sylvia Pena, Ronny Garduno, Patsy Navarro, Eddie Garduno and Sandy Gallegos and helped raise 60 grand kids. She has 6 brothers, Bonito (Benny), Roy, Edward, Nelson, Dan and Phil, and 4 sisters Shirley, Celia, Maryann, and Erlinda; and numerous nieces and nephews. She has buried both parents, 2 brothers, 1 daughter and 4 grand kids.
Fabby found great pleasure in being a wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, cleaning, sewing, going out to Frontier Days in her cowgirl hat to watch the Indian dance and working on her yard. Most of all she loved going out to eat with her husband at Perkins then cruising around Cheyenne 3-4 times a week then coming home and laying on her bed at night with her husband while watching their favorite shows and movie while having a snack.
The soft side to Fabby was creating a home for her family, helping others as much as she could and visiting with people. She was kind, compassionate, caring, loving and had a smile that was breath taking. Her eyes were gentle looking and the touch of her hand was soft and amazing.
Fabby would lend a helping hand wherever she could, whether it was a birthday, wedding, funeral or just someone in need. She would give anything to make sure others were happy. No matter what life dealt her she embraced it and kept her faith and love in God.
Juanita Fabby Fletcher has now gone to Heaven to be with family and friends she has missed so much. She is loved by so many and will be missed here on earth but has gained her wings to watch over each and every one of us, so if you see a red cardinal bird she is visiting you and if you see a penny on the ground pick it up because she is thinking of you.
