Joyce Wright Beard, 72, of Cheyenne, died peacefully at home in her daughter Krystal’s arms on August 11, 2015.
She was born May 10, 1943 in Burwell, Nebraska to Ernst and Helen (Cronk) Wright.
She married Don Beard on September 11, 1965.
She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, and a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Don (Vivian) Beard of Cheyenne; Ed (Doreen) Anderson of Hayden, Colorado; Joe (Cheryl) Anderson of Key Largo, Florida; Krystal Beard of Sparks, Nevada; and Charles “Bud” (Jess) Beard of Yorktown, Virginia; brothers and sisters, Rick (Sherry) Simpson, Mike Simpson; Sharon (Clayton) Willard; Bobbie Huffman; and Shawne (Bryan) Metzler; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Beard; son, Alfred Beard; grandchildren, Shalako Anderson and Marissa Franck; brothers, Kenny Simpson and Gary Davis; and sister Caroline.
