Josephine “Jo” Mullen, 78, of Cheyenne, passed away January 10th at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
She was born July 7, 1940, in Philadelphia, PA.
Jo was a member of the GFWC Women’s Civic League and enjoyed teaching the Monday morning ladies to knit. She enjoyed singing and piano and was very artistic, be it painting, crafting, or sewing.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Mullen; children, Sara Jane (Bill) Cooper, Jowin Carbery, Anton Nunnermacker and Jay (Amy) Mullen; sisters, Sarah Staub and Christine (Fred) Stehle; brothers-in-law, Dean Mullen and Tom Mullen; seven grandchildren: Chris (Eron) Cooper; Kelcey Carbery, Christopher Carbery, Ashley Nunnermacker, Ethan West, Caitlin Mullen, and Courtney Mullen and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Carolyn Leifeld.
Viewing will be Tuesday, 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. A reception will follow at The Gathering Place.
