Joseph (Joe) Roybal, Jr., 78 of Cheyenne, WY passed away surrounded by his loving family on July 6, 2022. He was born on January 30, 1944, in Loveland, CO, to Jose and Mercedes (Vigil) Roybal.
Joe served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad until his retirement after 42 years of service.
Joe loved working out in his yard and had the best yard on the southside of town. He had a passion to paint cars and play his all-time favorite game of Pac-Man. He loved to listen to oldies music and was a passionate pool player.
Joe is survived by his long-time love, Brenda Jacoby; children, Amy Hassinger (Dan), Shannon Barela (Jerry), Jennifer Jacoby (Gina), Dominic Jacoby, Mariah Mancha (Alex) and his bonus loving son Chris Frescaz (Cherise); his precious grandchildren, Paul J. Martinez, Savannah Love Martinez, Sierra Jacoby, Isabella Mancha, Jett Jacoby, and Elena Mancha; brothers, Jerry Roybal, Arthur (Dicky) Roybal (Margie); sisters, Delores Torres (Clarence), Mary (Hoppie) Macias (Armando), Kathy Roybal, Linda Abeyta (Martin), Delma Roybal, Emily Llanez (Jesse); and many nieces and nephews.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Mercedes (Vigil) Roybal; brothers, Adam Roybal, Valentine Roybal, Isadore Roybal, James (Jimmie) Roybal; sister-in-law, Mary Roybal; sons, Joseph and Adam Roybal; and his grandson, Elijah Joseph Mancha.
