Joseph “Joe” Patrick Garule, 90, of Cheyenne, died Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Poplar Living Center in Casper, Wyoming.
He was born November 6, 1926 in Omaha, Nebraska, a son to Henry and Nathalie (Svendsen) Garule.
Joe met Donna Adkins in the Spring of 1948 in Cheyenne and they married on December 3, 1948. They both worked in the freight and trucking business for more than 30 years. Joe served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Joe was a good man, he befriended anyone and always “Figured It Out.” He was a provider that took care of his family. He will be missed and is greatly loved.
Survivors include his wife Donna of Cheyenne; two daughters, Patricia Garule and Pamela Glaser; a grandson, Jason Pennock; sister, Dorothy Cunningham; and three cousins, Nancy Garrett; Linda Franks and Donna Coulson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debra Sue Garule; grandson, Joshua Pennock; two brothers, Hank and Leonard Garule; and a sister, Rose Tangeman.
Services will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Interment will follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
