Jon R. Thulin

Jon Thulin, a lifelong lover of music and master of the drums, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Born and raised in Cheyenne, he ventured to Florida and Colorado for a time but ultimately found his way back home in his final years. He was a man of charm and wit, making friend’s wherever he went with his quick humor and warm personality. A father of two and a loving grandfather, he gave his very best in all he did. Jon is preceded in death by his parents Sam and Alice Thulin. He is survived by his sister Judy, Daughter Shannon, Son Nick, and granddaughter Faith. Whether behind a drum set or simply sharing stories and talking politics with friends, his passion for life was evident in every beat and every conversation. He will be truly missed, but his rhythm will carry on in the hearts of those who knew him. A celebration of life will be held privately at a later date. Rest easy, Dad. The beat plays on.
