Anita Jolene Brinton (Stanley), affectionately known as Jolene, passed away peacefully on December 27th surrounded by family and loved ones. Born on July 25, 1937, in Shubert, Nebraska, Jolene lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.
Jolene married Robert Brinton in August of 1956 in Fort Collins, CO, and together they built a family, and a life filled with cherished memories. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Jolene’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, creating lasting memories, and sharing her love. She enjoyed tending to her rose garden, time at the family cabin & lake, travelling, football, and visits to the casino.
Jolene is survived by daughter Janice Midgley (Amos); grandchildren: Brady Brinton (Tiffany), Heather Cowley; Great grandchildren: Jaidyn and Hagen Cowley, Caitlyn and Alyson Jones; sister Dawn Arnold (Len); many beloved friends; an extended family, and her very best friend, Kathleen Hoover, who will all continue to honor her memory. Jolene was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Loreen Stanley; husband, Robert; two sons, Jeffrey and Jamie Brinton; and three brothers.
Jolene’s bright spirit and loving heart will forever inspire those who knew her.
A memorial service will be at Grace United Methodist church on January 17th at 11:00am, 2950 Spruce Dr, Cheyenne, WY 82001.
