Johnny M. Gonzales, 48, lifelong Cheyenne resident, died Thursday, February 19, 2015 at his home.
He was born April 18, 1966 in Cheyenne a son of Pete and Mary Lou (Lane) Gonzales. Johnny attended schools in Cheyenne and later owned his own Janitorial business here.
He liked to camp, fish, work on cars, watch wrestling on television and do puzzles.
Survivors include a son Ryan Gonzales of Cheyenne; his fiance, Melissa Martinez of Cheyenne; his mother, Mary Lou Gonzales of Cheyenne; a brother, Mark Gonzales of Anthony, New Mexico; two half brothers, Benny and Pete Herrera, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three sisters, Sally (Jeff) Ford of Akron, Ohio; Mary (Tony) Thompson of Cheyenne; and Lisa Gonzales of Cheyenne.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Gonzales.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Private family services are being planned.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter in Johnny’s name.
