John Edward Lallak, born on November 26, 1975, in Laramie, Wyoming, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. John’s life was characterized by a robust career and a vibrant personality that greatly impacted those around him.
Professionally, John dedicated a significant portion of his life to Fokner Construction, where he excelled as a valued team member. His work experience extended beyond construction to include time as a tow truck driver and fence builder, showcasing his diverse skills and unwavering work ethic.
John was known for his warm spirit and enthusiastic zest for life. He looked up to his uncles and aunts, drawing inspiration from them that fueled his passions, particularly his enduring love of racing. His hobbies frequently brought joy and connection, whether he was fishing, camping, or passionately cheering for the 49ers. A great cook and talented mechanic, John also had a flair for humor; his jovial nature and love for rock and country music made him a cherished companion. He delighted in simple pleasures, such as enjoying Dr. Pepper and lime and cucumber Gatorade, and drew immense happiness from spending time with his grandchildren and animals, including his loyal dog, Punky.
John is survived by his beloved partner, Carrie Jenkins, mother, Debra Lallak; Father figure, Ed Lallak; his five children, William Dixon, Martin Lallak, Thomas Helgeson, Kenny Lallak, and Chevelle Lallak; His family tree also includes added pieces of family: Jeremy Lallak, Jake Jenkins, and Mariah Jenkins; his siblings, Hubbub Dulaney, June Villa (Lallak) and Savannah Dulaney, alongside brother-in-law Manny Villa; and nephews, Jacob Figolah, Justin L. Bocock, Jesse Bocock, and Mikael Lallak, as well as niece, Emmafae Dulaney. He is also remembered fondly by his grandchildren, Elvira, Laiin, Remi, Aesir, Nerina, Shawn, Declan, and Berkley.
John was preceded in death by family members, Diane Bartlett, Jerry Shupe, and Stella Lallak.
A memorial service to honor John’s life will be held on March 4, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, with services concluding at 11:00 AM, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes, located at 1900 E 19th St, Cheyenne, WY 82001.
John Edward Lallak's legacy will endure through the countless memories he created and the love he shared with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
