John Michael Connette went home to his Lord and Savior on Monday February 7, 2016 after a short fight with cancer.
John was born on May 13, 1955 and was a kind and caring son, husband and father. He loved the Lord and his church family. He attended Cheyenne Vineyard Church. John worked for Clure Brothers Furniture for 26 years. He never met a stranger and enjoyed working with people. John had a quick smile and made many friends over the years with his great sense of humor.
John had many hobbies including collecting antiques and ventriloquism memorabilia. He made beautiful stain glass pieces, some of which are displayed in businesses around town. John’s favorite hobby was growing roses with the love of his life Patti.
John met Patti in 2013 and after a brief courtship they were married on May 21, 2013. John and Patti had an amazing relationship based on their love of God, love and respect for each other.
John was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy Boulter.
John is survived by his wife, Patti Connette; his parents, Bill and Anita Boulter of Lockhart, Texas; his two children, Christopher Connette of South Dakota and Tim Connette of Texas; 6 step-children; 14 grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Celebration of John’s life will be held at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel on February 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
A reception will follow at Cheyenne Vineyard Church (2232 Del Range Blvd, Suite 3004).
