John E. Brown

John Brown passed away peacefully August 14, 2023. John was born in Rawlins, WY to Ed A. Brown and Ira Mae Brown. He graduated from Cheyenne High in 1959. He attended Berkley School of Music in Boston. When John returned to Cheyenne, he began his career as a jazz pianist and later opened a music store called Amazing Music. John married Betty Zeman in 1966. John is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty, and son Lowell Romsa. He is survived by son John E. Brown II, daughter Susan Romsa Danat, sister Jo Heatherington and several nieces and nephews. There will be no services.
