John F. Bartley, Jr., 75, of Cheyenne, passed away at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. He was born July 3, 1944 in Pueblo, Colorado to Francis and John Bartley, Sr.
He grew up in Cheyenne and after graduation he joined and served in the U.S. Navy. Even though he could not read or write he still volunteered his services during the Vietnam War. John had many loves in his life, his family, hunting and his grand-pup Mae Mae are just to name a few.
He is survived by his daughters, Pegi Mauriello and Mary Lashley, of Las Vegas, Nevada; son-in-law, David Mauriello; brother, Frank (Linda) Cason of Portage, WI; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is proceeded by his wife, Marguerite “Peggy” Bartley and his parents.
Services have been postponed until a later date.
