Joann Fae Jackson

Joann Fae Jackson, 78, of Cheyenne, died on Friday, December 9th in Cheyenne.
Her appearance into this world immediately followed her identical twin sister on February 4, 1938 in Geneva, Nebraska.
After graduation from Geneva High School she was a telephone operator for AT&T until her marriage to Bill Jackson on June 1, 1958. They became the parents of Lana, Jamie, and Danny. She began working for the UPRR while living in Columbus and North Platte, Nebraska and continued her employment with the UPRR in Cheyenne. She also worked for Unified Persons Federal Credit Union.
Joann was a member of the United Methodist Church in Columbus, Nebraska, the American Legion Auxiliary and Women of the Moose.
She is survived by her children, Lana Hendricks, Jamie Jackson (Michelle), and Danny Jackson (Gina); grandchildren, Jenifer (Porter) and Jason Hendricks, Brenton (Kelly), Cami, Kyle, and T.J. Jackson, Kayla Perrin (Drew); great-grandchildren, Tayler Charley, Austana Hendricks, Gavin, Coner, and Cole Jackson, and Mike and Taylor Gay; sister, Hazel Ewalt; brother-in-law, Lynn Koozer; and sister-in-law, Tami Jackson.
Joann was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Jackson, whom she was married to for 58 years until his death on 7/24/2016; parents, Roy and Ruby (Severns) Miller; brothers, Charles, Clair and Irvin Miller; sisters, Marie Andrews and her twin Suzann Koozer.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Friends who wish may contribute to the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, American Cancer Society, or Davis Hospice.
