Joan D. Knight, 84, of Cheyenne passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Davis Hospice.
She was born February 24, 1931 in Shamrock, Texas and had lived here since 1999 with prior residence in Rawlins and Salt Lake City, Utah.
Joan was an avid cribbage player and enjoyed playing with the Stink Hole in The Wall Gang. She was known for her lucky streaks in gambling and for all her pawn shop hunts for jewelry.
She always appreciated the kindness of the girls at the Unified Peoples Federal Credit Union.
Joan is survived by her children, Rebecca Grauberger of Cheyenne; Mark Felton of Anchorage, Alaska, Paul Felton of Nikiski, Alaska, and Elizabeth Kornkven of Redding, California; her son-in-law and best friend, Ted Grauberger of Cheyenne; brother, Clarence Davidson of Douglas; grandchildren, Tracy Allen, Kelly Milatzo, and Scott Grauberger, all of Cheyenne, Aaron, Laura, Rhiannon, Michael, Carrie, Janice, Lisa, Ian, Anne, Kate, Anders, Christian, Ryer and Justus; twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded by her parents, Alta Brown and Jesse Davidson and a sister, LaDawn Mayforth.
In honor of Joan’s wishes, there will not be a service. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
