Jimmy George Keen

Jimmy Keen passed away peacefully on November 30th, 2024, at the age of 77. He is loved and missed by his wife Anita, son Aaron, Daughters-in-Law Michelle and Carrie and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son John. Originally from Kansas City, Jim came to the state to play football at the University of Wyoming where he was a part of the 1967 Sugar Bowl team. He fell in love with Wyoming and settled here, starting a long career as a teacher and coach. Jim served as the Head Football Coach in Kemmerer, Powell, and Cheyenne East. Jim will be remembered for his tremendous sense of humor and his ability to make others smile and laugh. His family will continue to honor his legacy by enjoying life to the fullest. Donations in Jim’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association or Davis Hospice in Cheyenne would be appreciated.
