Jewel D. Bennett

January 18, 1930 — October 11, 2021

Jewel (Jeri) Dean Bennett, 91, passed away October 11, 2021 surrounded by family and loved one in the comfort of her home. She was born on January 18, 1930 in Little Rock, AR to Mary Saterfield and Charles Teas.
She is survived by son Charles R. Bennett; daughter Georgia Szabo; grandchildren Charles Andrew Fraviendienst and Krysta Tracy. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Saterfield, father Charles Teas, son David Bennett, husband Charles D. Bennett, brother Andy Teas, a second brother, and an infant sister who passed at birth.
She worked at Boeing Aircraft in the transportation sector as a civil servant at Warren Air Force Base. While stationed in Midway, Hawaii, Jeri recognized that there were no facilities for enlisted men to eat. She took the opportunity to establish a chow hall for enlisted men. Jeri did all the cooking so they could have a nice home cooked meal.
She was a beautiful woman who loved to cook and bake. She shared her goodies with the world around her. She was a very caring and giving person, who always enjoyed helping others where she was able. She was loved by so many and the strongest person, I have ever known. She will be missed by so many that loved her.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 309 Western Hills Blvd. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery.
Flowers and cards will be received at 1412 S. Greeley Hwy #72, Cheyenne, WY 82007.
