Jeffrey Thomas Tammen (Jeff) died unexpectedly on Monday, April 15th 2024 while visiting friends in Cheyenne Wyoming.
Jeff is survived by his 4 children, Michael Tammen (Sydney), Dominic Garcia-Tammen (Ashley), Joshua Tammen, and Jessica Tammen (Jake); his two sisters, Alisa Holt (Eric) and Cindy Rice; his 5 nephews, Travis Lake (Jennifer), Justin Lake, Ross Holt, Fox Holt and Lane Holt; his niece, April Hudson (Brad); his two grandchildren, Amarra Tammen and Jameson Fogg; and his two beloved dogs, Laddie and Sadie.
Jeff is also survived by the following individuals who were all important people in his life; Faith and John Vroman, Dawn Garcia-Espinoza (Brian), Kenneth Garcia (Bobbi-Jo), Jonnie Vroman (Aaron), Chanda Snook, and his great friend Kevin Boheler.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Leota Tammen; and his brother-in-law Rocky Vroman.
Jeff was born on March 2nd 1965 to parents Thomas and Leota Tammen in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Jeff spent most of his life in Cheyenne before moving to Casper, Wyoming, his place of residence at the time of his passing. Jeff graduated from East High School in 1984 before attending Laramie County Community College where he would graduate with a degree in Radiography in 1991.
Jeff was a highly respected Multimodality Radiologic Technologist. Most recently he was an employee of Banner Health in Casper Wyoming. Jeff also spent a significant portion of his career at Cheyenne Radiology Group and was a current nominee for the position of President in The Wyoming Society of Radiologic Technologists.
Jeff proudly organized and hosted an annual Pheasant hunt and was an active second generation member of the Shriners Club where he would frequently volunteer at group events. In his younger years, Jeff was a decorated bull rider and avid rodeo enthusiast. He would participate in many events and competitions throughout the states during his time dedicated to the sport. Jeff also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and spending quality time with his friends and family.
Services will be held April 25th at 2:00pm, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel,1900 East 19th St.,Cheyenne Wyoming.
