Jeffrey G. Garcia, Sr., 57, of Cheyenne died July 22 in Englewood, Colorado.
He was born August 25, 1958 in Laramie.
Jeff was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Form 619, a pool player for Cheyenne Valley League and enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and bbq'ing. He loved the Denver Broncos and Alabama Crimson Tide. He also loved playing and coaching youth baseball.
He is survived by the love of his life of 40 years, Joanne; two children, Jeffrey Garcia, Jr. and Candace (Rudy) Herrera, all of Cheyenne; mother, Catherine Garcia of Albany, Georgia; four brothers, Joey, Mike, Dru, and Morgan Garcia; grandchildren, Mercedes, Tricia, Bella, Felizia, Cynthia, Alexus, Alyssa and daughter-in-law, Lisa Rivera.
He was preceded in death by his son, Chance Garcia; father, Herman Garcia; brother, Tony Garcia; and good friend, Esteban Duran.
Pallbearers are Jeff Garcia Jr., Rudy Herrera, Morgan Garcia, Joey Garcia, Joe Sanchez and John Carabajal.
Honorary Pallbearers are Ronnie Armijo, CJ Brawley and all Jeff's nephews.
Vigil for the Deceased will be July 28, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Funeral Liturgy will be July 29, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Carl Gallinger as celebrant.
Interment will follow at Olivet Cemetery.
