Jeffrey “Jeff” K. Arasmith, 60, of Cheyenne, died Friday, October 10, 2014 at his home.
He was born April 25, 1954 in Garden City, Kansas, and son to Neil and Donna (Schindler) Arasmith. Raised in Phillipsburg, Kansas and moved to Wyoming in the late 70’s and to Cheyenne in September of 1979. Jeff was employed as a welder with the Refinery here in Cheyenne, retiring in 2009 after 30 years of service.
He married Maxine M. Herrick on July 27, 1975 in Phillipsburg, Kansas.
Jeff was a member of the Elks Lodge and enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include his wife Maxine of Cheyenne; daughter and her significant other, Bobbi (Heath Stecklein) Asbury of Cheyenne; son and daughter-in-law, Bradley (Jessika) Arasmith of Denver, Colorado; grandson, Aidan Asbury of Cheyenne; siblings, David (Nancy) Arasmith of Topeka; Susan (John) Esau of Lawrence, Kansas; and Tim Arasmith of Kansas City.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Celebration of Life will be at the Elks Lodge on October 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Jeff’s name to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter.
