Jeanene Dieters, 66, of Cheyenne, died on Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
She was born on July 26, 1948 in Winner, South Dakota and had lived in Cheyenne from 1970-1979 and again from 2000 to present.
Jeanene was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, the Moose Lodge, and enjoyed writing. She was the family historian and record keeper. She was a loving mother and wife, was very stubborn, and never gave up. She loved animals, especially cats.
She is survived by two sons, Gene Dieters (Michelle) of Las Vegas, Nevada and Mike Dieters (Jessica) of Cheyenne; a daughter, Karla Dieters of Cheyenne; a sister, Rosemarie Teske of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; her father, Roland Smith of Sioux Falls; and seven grandchildren, Mason, Audrey, Karly, Peyton, Hunter, Braden, and Ethan.
Jeanene was preceded in death by her husband, Karl Dieters on June 12, 2006; and her mother, Jean Smith.
Services will be Friday, 1:00 p.m., at Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Interment will be in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
