Jean Marie Zephirin LuMaye was born July 28, 1940 to Bob and Helen Zephirin in Green Bay Wisconsin. She has 1 sister Nancy (Richard) Gigstead. Jean graduated from Brussels High School in 1958. She married her lifelong friend Maurice LuMaye on July 5th, 1958. They proceeded to have 2 children Jesse and Renee. Jean, her husband Maurice, and their children moved to Cheyenne, WY in 1967 for health concerns. Jean, who was a stay at home mom and housewife, loved all animals especially her horse Prince and her dog Fluffy and her registered Persian Suzy Marie. She loved any crafts dealing with yarn which won numerous awards from the Laramie Country Fair. She also loved making jewelry, loved her doll collection and spent some weekends, as a family, fossil hunting and camping. She loved her rock collection and was very compassionate for the people in need. In Wisconsin, she was a Sunday school teacher and had a lot of faith and devotion to the Roman Catholic Church. She supported the Indian Orphanage in South Dakota with numerous donations.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Maurice, her son Jesse, her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her daughter Renee and her sister Nancy, her only grandson Travis, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her cremation and funeral had taken place in Cheyenne, WY at Weiderspahn Funeral Home on Monday November 14,2016. The family would like to say Thank You for the flowers, cards, donations, calls and sympathies that were received.
