Jarod Allen Stewart, 38, of Rock Springs Wyoming passed away July 7, 2021.
Jarod moved to Bridger Valley in his teens to continue his education and obtain his GED. He returned to Rock Springs in his adult life and started his career and life-long love of trucking.
Jarod was also very passionate about fishing. If he ever took time off from work he was fishing and spending time with his friends and family. His hobbies included video games, cooking and trying new foods, and loved being up to date on movies.
Jarod had a great sense of humor, and was a kind soul with a big heart.
Jarod’s biggest love in life was heavy-haul trucking. A life where he met many people and created life-long friendships. He was a beloved son, grandson, brother, and friend.
He is survived by his sister Jenna Stewart; his second family, Moneta Donahue, Daniel Villa, Mark Corthell, Melissa Marostica, John M. Villa, June Villa, Cody Milbourn, Shana Sanfilippo, Tyler Donahue; nieces and nephews, and an entire heavy-haul family.
Jarod was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Stewart, grandfather Richard “Dick” Stewart, and grandmother Alice Stewart.
Services will be Friday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with burial to follow in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
His friends and family would like to thank the staff of both the Wyoming Medical Center and the University of Colorado.
