Janeen Roark, 67 of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed at Cheyenne Regional Medical
Center surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
She was born on January 17, 1956 in Upland California to Leslie Keyes Cutting Jr. and
Marjorie Jane Crum. She married Garrett Roark on November 15, 1975 in Grants Pass,
Oregon.
Janeen was the oldest with 3 siblings. She graduated from Grants Pass High School in
the class of 1974. She also attended Rogue Community College as well as beauty
school. She was devoted to her family and her grandchildren were the joy of her life.
She was personally invested in each member of her family’s life.
As a Pastor’s/Minister’s wife, she was committed to a personal relationship with God.
She was a prayer warrior known far and wide for her willingness to go to God on other’s
behalf. She leaves a legacy of faith and hope.
She enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting, and cooking for her family, a drive in the
mountains, and going to Walden for a Sutter’s Meal at the bowling alley, or having a tea
party with her grandkids. Janeen loved to laugh and make others happy with her joyful
demeanor. She had an infectious laugh which will always be remembered. Janeen
always made people feel welcome at the Thanksgiving table if they did not have a place
to go, and she made sure you didn’t leave her house hungry anytime you stopped by.
She loved to make her grandchildren pancakes and chocolate waffles to make sure
they felt loved and cared for. She was the very best cheerleader, patting your shoulder
saying, “Your the best!”
