James M. Wilson, Jr. 71, passed away in Cheyenne, WY on June 25, 2017. James was born in Tallassee, Ala. on Feb. 14, 1946, the only son of James and Vivian Wilson.
He married Beverly Findley in Spring, Texas on Dec. 24, 1974. James worked in Industrial Construction and the pair lived in many states before settling in Cheyenne in 1991. He was an avid football fan and especially loved the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Green Bay Packers.
He was a football state champion at Talladega High School in Talladega, Ala. in 1963.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly of Cheyenne; children, Rod Findley (Renee Sells) of Cheyenne; Heather (Reese) Vaughan of Colorado Springs; and Jamey and Bridget of Cheyenne; grandchildren, McKenna and Ashley of Cheyenne, and Brandon of GA, twin sister, Jane Wade of Talladega, Ala.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Betty Jean Tucker.
