Born on February 6, 1954, in the same city that would forever hold his heart, James was a steadfast figure in both his family and community.

James dedicated over 40 years of his life working for the railroad and also served as an Aerospace Lab Technician, a role that showcased his keen intellect and unwavering commitment to excellence, one he was very proud of. His career was marked by his relentless curiosity and passion for innovation, earning him the respect of his peers and colleagues. Though he pursued some college education, it was his hands-on experience and natural aptitude that paved the way for his achievements.

Throughout his life, James showed a remarkable ability to connect with others. His warm personality and genuine kindness attracted many friends who will ever cherish the moments spent in his company. Among those who hold him dear is his brother, George J. Wienbarg, whose bond with James was deep-rooted in shared experiences and family history. He will also be missed by his loving sister, Elizabeth Wienbarg; his nieces Sonya Pollock and Heather Fleck; his nephew Aaron Fleck, his three great nephews and great niece. 

James was predeceased by his loving parents, Jack L. Wienbarg and Betty M. Wienbarg (Huston), whose guidance and encouragement shaped the man he became. Their legacy lives on in the heart of every person who knew him, as James carried forth the values of hard work, compassion, and resilience instilled in him by his family.
