James Monroe Ward, 76, of Cheyenne passed peacefully January 9, 2015.
He was born January 23, 1938 in Laramie to Leo and Mabel Ward.
He attended school in Laramie and enlisted in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad as a conductor.
He was devoted to his church.
He is survived by his children, Richard Ward, Doug (Trudy) Ward and Lisa (Jim) Rozar; two sisters, Betty Toohey and Carolyn Parrott ; brother-in-law, Jim Runyon; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, whom he married in 1975; son, Gregory Ward; parents; brother, Ronald and sister, Jane.
Timeless Memories services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
